AI research with 40 million dollars Microsoft investment
Microsoft has announced a five-year initiative named AI for Health, part of the wider AI for Good program, which aims to improve medical-scientific research through artificial intelligence, making the tools accessible to scholars from all over the world.
Microsoft is aware of the importance of information sharing and collaboration to be able to solve emergency problems in the health sector, an example may be the current international emergency of coronavirus, and with the help of artificial intelligence the possibility to resolv major problems can be higher, and improving the quality of the sanitary area and with it the worldwide health conditions.
The project will focus on three macro-areas:

Research: to speed up medical research;
• Global health data: to increase knowledge of mortality and longevity, so that we can protect ourselves against crises;
• Equal health: to enable all countries to have access to the necessary health care.
