Xiaomi Blocked By Coronavirus, closed stores and Mi 10 delayed

Xiaomi also makes a drastic decision, its stores in China will be closed for at least a week starting yesterday. The idea is therefore to avoid contact with customers as much as possible, and therefore with potential carriers of infection.
A certainly courageous choice, given that it certainly involves significant economic damage. Closing stores means not selling. Nor is it said that the stop will last only for a week. Xiaomi in fact wants to see us clearly and it is possible that the stores will remain closed until a definitive cure has been found or the infection is blocked.

Operations will resume on February 3 2020".
